Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from a visit to the Veterinarian?

In many respects, a veterinarian is similar to a pediatrician. Animals cannot talk like human beings, and much of the clinical history is obtained from the owner or client, as a pediatrician would obtain from a child’s parents. Excellent people skills and communication skills are required.

Who is Dr. Moore?

Dr. Moore is well-known and widely recommended to new clients for his practice of medicine with a very hands-on approach. Dr. Moore is the primary doctor in our practice and is the primary doctor you will see. He is known for his caring bedside manner, his kindness, patience and the amount of time he takes with each patient and client. Recognized as one of Lee County’s OA-News Readers Choice Awards winner, Thornton Animal Hospital strives to build strong relationships while practicing with the highest integrity of medicine.
